Augmented reality applications are getting quite a bit of buzz in the mobile space. These types of apps could be a huge hit in the future of mobile technology and the integration of mobile and social media. Recognizor, developed by the team at TAT, (a Swedish software technology and design company), allows you to recognize your friends’ faces and associate them with social media service such as facebook, myspace and youtube. U2 makes history again! U2 has teamed up with YouTube to broadcast their upcoming concert. U2 will be performing October 25, 2009 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA., in what some estimate in front of close to 90,000 people. What makes this concert so great is that the concert will be broadcast to 17 countries via YouTube. The possible reach for this concert could reach into the millions. The 17 countries the concert will be available to are the United States, UK, France, Canada, Italy, Spain, Japan, Brazil, Australia, NZ, Ireland, Mexico, India, Israel, South Korea, and Netherlands.
